FOREWORD: The current challenge
Data protection officers are often faced with the requirement to remove personal data from integrated IT systems such as CRM or ERP.
However, conventional deletion is often not possible,
as this would compromise the integrity of such systems.
In such cases, it is necessary to anonymize personal data by overwriting it.
However, this was previously only possible through the use of SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) , which entails considerable costs.
PRODUCT PRESENTATION
With the innovative GDPR anonymizer from ososoft, it is now easy and cost-effective to eliminate personal data in S/4HANA systems in compliance with GDPR.
The specially developed SAP Fiori app provides efficient selection, carries out plausibility checks and provides an overview of the anonymization status and capability of the existing master data.
APPLICATION
At the push of a button, the anonymization process is initiated directly and across all necessary tables.
This initially sets various blocking, deletion and archiving notes, which prevent new documents from being created in the future. If necessary, all existing documents are also anonymized.
The values with which the database fields containing personal data are overwritten can be individually set.
